Carol McCormick – Ministerial Guide
Reverend Carol McCormick, an intuitive reader, energy healer, writer, and professional storyteller, helps people discover their own inner wisdom. Raised a Missouri Synod Lutheran, as an adult she joined Presbyterian and Unity Churches. After attending numerous metaphysical classes, workshops and conferences, Carol was ordained as a Priest of Melchizedek in 1990. Carol has been active at Lake Harriet Spiritual Community for over 14 years. She views LHSC as a microcosm of the macrocosm–seeding harmonious community and pioneering experiential spirituality for our world. As a professional storyteller and teacher for over thirty years, Carol shares stories to teach, inspire and entertain audiences of all ages. She leads workshops, teaches writing and storytelling classes, and serves as an organizational and conference speaker. Carol can help you plan and celebrate your significant life events: home blessings, birthdays, cronings, weddings, commitment ceremonies, conception blessings, baptisms, anniversaries, memorial services, funerals, and Earth Rituals.

Lou Longmire – Ministerial Guide
Lou Longmire is here….NOW. My journey to this point started with a humble beginning in Devils Lake, North Dakota. A childhood move to San Diego California at age nine was bittersweet, but the incessant string of eighty degree days and palm tree lined streets helped alleviate any misgivings.
I was raised with a decidedly Lutheran influence and like many before me, in my early twenties began to question the traditional doctrines and explanations that were offered regarding my spiritual questions. I found myself studying comparative religions and the writings of Thoreau, Emerson as well as Ernest Holmes and Emmet Fox. A Willingness to explore the universe, with all the possibilities and all the realities that exist, has fostered in me a better understanding of my own Divine nature and of the Divine nature of all creation, including you.
With Carl Rogers as my role model, I studied at San Diego State University, earning a degree in Psychology with an emphasis in counseling and humanistic psychology. Work at a private psychiatric hospital included opportunities for me to provide individual counseling and intensive care to patients. My varied life experience in the work world also includes stints as a paperboy, pizza maker, paramedic, residential realtor, commodities broker, pharmaceutical representative, and currently in civil engineering. For years my path has included participation in Toastmasters International, acting in a repertory theater company and even as a performing stand up comic.
All of these wonderful and varied experiences combine to create a better understanding of how you and I fit in this magnificent Divine existence. I only hope that we can explore life’s possibilities and truths together, here….now.

Theresa Rose – Ministerial Guide
Theresa Rose is an Ordained Minister, dynamic motivational speaker, multiple award-winning author of Opening the Kimono: A Woman’s Intimate Journey Through Life’s Biggest Challenges and experienced workshop facilitator whose mission is to educate, entertain, and inspire people to become aware of their unlimited power. Prior to becoming a writer and professional speaker, Theresa owned EnergyWorks, a healing center in Sarasota, Florida, which provided bodywork, yoga and energy healing services. While at EnergyWorks, Theresa conducted weekly guided meditation workshops, was a nationally certified Reiki instructor, and taught yoga several times per week. As a Licensed Massage Therapist, Intuitive Healer and Reiki Master, she had a thriving healing practice where she helped people unlock physical and emotional blockages, understand and transcend core life issues, and ultimately embrace their personal power more fully. Her ministerial training came from the Center for Sacred Studies, an affiliation of The Council for the Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers, which had an emphasis on indigenous ceremony, ritual and transpersonal psychology. Theresa has been married to her husband Michael since 1997, and they have a beautiful, precocious nine-year old daughter named Emma.
